How do you rock out in 2009? How about creating an entire rock album dedicated to doing just that.
That is exactly what Michael Damian and record promoter Larry Weir hope to accomplish. Michael is scheduled to release several new songs off his new Rock On ‘09 album including “Rock on ‘09, “Close Every Door ‘09, “Never Forget You”, and the remake of a previous hit “Was it Nothing at All”, which earned Damian a BMI song writing award.
Damian chose to remake the song on the new album after hearing numerous requests by loyal fans who were deeply, emotionally touched by the original, so much so that they thought it deserved a sequel. “It meant a lot to me that this song could emotionally connect with so many people, and so again, I really wanted to get a new song out to some of the original fans but also introduce it to a whole new generation of people”.
Damian, an accomplished actor, producer, director, songwriter and performer has won numerous awards for his work and could potentially add to that with this new album. He is most well known for playing Danny Romalotti on the daytime drama, “The Young and the Restless” and also starred as Joseph on the Broadway show “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat”.
Damian has released 6 albums and 8 top 40 hits. His record promoter, Larry Weir, can give him an excellent chance of reaching the spotlight again with the new album. Larry Wier’s company “National Record Promotion” is one of America’s top multi-format radio promotion companies. The new album, “Rock On” is now available on iTunes for download.
